About this project
Water is a universal resources, which is vital to every facet of the human life, yet over 600 million people worldwide lack access to portable water.
Zoe Innovationx Water Project is a social project created with a vision of dealing with the problem of lack of accessibility to portable water in rural and urban settlement in the south western part of Nigeria.
We propose to solve the aforementioned problem through the use of indigenous processes and ICT technologies to solve this problem, because the world is turning into a global village and to solve it's problems that tend to affect people at the grassroots level effectively and sustainable for a long period we have to incorporate technology and excellent delivery services.
Goals and Objectives
* Curbing Outbreak of diseases emanating from Drinking Water from Polluted Sources through awareness campaign.
* Sinking solar powered borehole that can serve in strategic location for rural settlers
* Creating a water delivery system and value chain that deliver water to people door step at affordable prices.
* Creating more Jobs for women and Youth through water vending and delivery
*Creating an online water calculator and ordering app for people in urban and rural settlement.
This app allows you to plan and calculation your water consumption on a weekly and monthly basis and using the calculated data, to place order for the amount of water needed within that period of time and we deliver it to them through our excellent water delivery system. Also the mobile app, will send hygiene and water sanitation tips to subscribers on a weekly basis ads targeted towards people across the African continent.
The Beneficiary of these project are over 500 household located in Modakeke, a rural settlement in Osun State, Nigeria. These beneficiaries are chosen due to the present challenge they face in accessing portable water.
Expected result
The following are the expected result
* Create access to portable water for 1,000 people within the first year of initiation and implementation
* Reduce prevalence of water borne disease within target community
* Create a sustainable water supply system for rural settlers
* Development of a mobile App that help calculate water usage for both rural and urban settlers
* Create more Jobs for women and Youth
